The information stolen may include more than Vets discharged since 1975. According to our government website any vet who filed a claim since 1975 and/or any vet that has had VA insurance since 1975 is also a potential victim of identity theft.
This could also include dependents and spouses of said vets.
I counted thirteen people in my immediate family who could be affected.
